About Event

Arab cuisine is the foundation of a region's worth of culinary heritage. Lebanese, Jordanian, Palestinian, Egyptian, Moroccan, and so many more are localizations of one root, shaped by history, memory, external influences and growth. In each of their own ways, speakers Chefs Fayçal Bettioui, Mostafa Seif, Qais Malhas, Tarek Alameddine & moderator Omar Shihab are championing very personal perspectives of their local cuisines. From creating community spaces to curating nuanced city tours to designing menus that support the local ecosystem, we explore the endless efforts to champion Arab cuisine with authenticity
